Finance reporting

Find missing expense support and unmatched balances before the month end close, and bring the records together for finance review.

Preface · Singapore · 28 May 2026

Month end review

OpenClaw checked sample closing files for expenses without enough supporting evidence, balances that did not match between group companies, and cross border service invoices needing tax review. It collected those exceptions with their supporting records.

The finance team reviews the list, investigates differences and approves journals or filing submissions.

Preparing closing exceptions

Accrual evidence and intercompany matching

The checks compared accrual support and matched intercompany recharges against counterparty schedules. Missing evidence and unmatched balances became an exception list, retaining supporting records, status and potential risk impact for investigation.

Currency commentary and tax questions

Explanations of foreign exchange movements were prepared as drafts for review. Cross border service invoices were flagged for withholding tax review.

Deployment approach presented

Access limited to closing work

The presentation limited the assistant's access to closing files, policies and exceptions. Its deployment approach used isolated Lightsail without Internet access, with compute, inference and the gateway inside the VPC.
